Schedule for the rest of 2009

I came up with a schedule a month or two back, and I'm happy to say we've been sticking to it! We're prepping up for the upcoming World Cup Asia, and we've been training pretty religiously, from doing general fitness (cardio, stamina, strength, etc) to down-and-dirty paintball drills.

For the curious, here's a peek at our schedule for the rest of 2009.

Team Rocknrolla at the World Cup Asia 2009!

It's official - We're going to be at the World Cup Asia 2009 at the end of the year! We'll be playing in Division 4, and we'll have our brand spanking new jerseys by then.

"The World Cup Asia is the largest international paintball event in Asia, held annually in Kuala Lumpur. This year is the fifth WCA to be held, and is set to mark history as the largest and most extravagant WCA yet. Organized by PALS Events and Xtion Paintball Park, the WCA initially pledged 80 teams, but saw attendance hit an all time high early this month. The total number of registered teams has now reached 120, with over 30 teams still on the waiting list.

This year's participating countries include France, UK, US, Guam, UAE, Iran, Australia, Japan, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, India, South Africa, and Malaysia."
If you feel like coming to support us, or shopping at the largest paintball expo in Asia, or watching teams from all over the world bust their guts and work those sexy guns, head over to Xtion Paintball Park, Bukit Jalil from 19-22 Nov 2009.

Rocknrolla's "Buka Puasa" with Aizat

Hari Raya is around the corner. For those who aren't familiar with Muslim traditions, that marks the end of the Muslim fasting month. During this time Muslims (in this case, Aizat) have to fast from sunrise (around 6am) to sunset (around 7pm) for a month or so.

So, as el capitan, I'd scheduled in a team break fast session so we could share in with Aizat.

We had it in Nando's at Jaya One in PJ, and unfortunately, Jimmy and Edward couldn't join us, so it was just Aizat, Sandie, coach and me. We had a great time, though our resident cameraperson only took pictures of the food!
